Our 2012 Summer Event – River Boat Cruise , Lunch and Live Greek Music – was held on Sunday 15th of July onboard “The New Southern Belle” from Kingston upon Thames up to Hampton Court, Richmond and back. We sailed at 12.00 am.
Having considered your request for a change, the newly elected Governing Committee decided this year to offer members, their families and friends something completely different, by organising a special day out on the river Thames instead of the customary BBQ.
A river boat was booked and took us from Kingston upon Thames up to Hampton Court, then down through Teddington Lock to Richmond and back to Kingston. The duration of the cruise was approximately four hours.
We hope that you and your families enjoyed this beautiful and historic part of the Thames on a beautiful summer’s day, with a buffet lunch, drinks and live Greek Music onboard
“The New Southern Belle”.
Especially for this year’s summer event the participation fee for members and their families was be fully subsidised by the Society.
We believe that our members, their families and their close friends experienced once again a great afternoon.
