Our 2013 Summer Event – River Boat Cruise, Lunch and Live Greek Music – was held on Sunday 16th of June onboard “The New Southern Belle” from Kingston upon Thames up to Hampton Court, Richmond and back. We sailed at 12.00 am.
Further to last year’s great success, the HESGB Committee had decided to repeat a special day out on the river for our members and their families.
A river boat was booked again and took us from Kingston upon Thames up to Hampton Court, then down though Teddington Lock to Richmond and back to Kingston, with an estimated duration of the cruise of approximately four hours.
We hope that you and your families enjoyed this beautiful and historic part of the Thames on this beautiful summer’s day, with live music, a buffet lunch and drinks onboard “The New Southern Belle”.
This year’s summer event was more than 60% subsidised by the Society so the participation fee for members and their families was kept at £15 per person. (Children, under 18, attended for FREE).
We believe that our members, their families and their close friends experienced once again, a great afternoon.
